Enquiries and client communications

When you fill in the contact form on my website or email me directly, I collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share about your project. I use this to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver my services to you.

The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interests – it is necessary for me to process your contact details in order to respond to you.

Client project information

If you become a client, I will collect additional information as part of the onboarding process – including details about your business, brand preferences, and any files or assets you share with me. This information is used solely to deliver the service you have booked.

The legal basis for processing this data is performance of a contract.

Website analytics

My website is built on Squarespace, which collects anonymised data about how visitors use the site, including pages visited, time spent on the site, and general location data (country or region level). This data does not identify you personally and is used to help me understand how my website is performing.

The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interests.

Cookies

Squarespace uses cookies to operate the website and collect the anonymised analytics data described above. When you visit my website, you will be asked to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

How long I keep your data

Enquiries that don't proceed: I will retain your contact details for up to 12 months, after which they will be deleted.

Client records: I retain project files and communications for up to 3 years after the completion of a project, for administrative and legal purposes. After this period, they are securely deleted.

Analytics data: Squarespace retains anonymised analytics data in accordance with their own data retention policy.

Who I share your data with

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data may be processed by the following third-party service providers as part of delivering my services:

  • Squarespace — website hosting and analytics (USA, with appropriate safeguards under UK GDPR)

I will only share your data with others if required to do so by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to access – you can request a copy of the personal data I hold about you

  • The right to rectification – you can ask me to correct any inaccurate data
